After dinner, we decided to have dessert at Entrecote because, well, I ADORE FRENCH food! Since it was also in the Entertainment book, well, how can the stooges and I refuse a discounted french dessert! BAM! We walked from Burma Lane and right into Entrecote.
We walked in and was greeted warmly and was shown to the table for some dessert. When you step inside, you could feel the warmth of the eatery and you just feel at ease. We got the menu and checked out the desserts. Stooge 1 decided to get the Financier aux Framboises because it sounded oooh la la fancy pants. It has raspberries and sorbet, almond cake and mascapone. This was absolutely AMAZEBALL, both visually and in MY MOUTH! Gosh, it wasn’t super sweet or super sour and I LOVED IT! I found the sorbet to be a tad clumpy and not as light and feathery which I’m use to but the taste was all there.
Financier aux Framboises – $18.90
Stooge 2 had never tried a bombe Alaska so who were we to deny anyone of their dessert. When this came out, it was super duper cutie patootie with a gold leaf the very tip. This consisted of a milk chocolate parfait, mango and brulee meringue. This was AWESOME SAUCE! The meringue, so soft and gooey like clouds and the milk chocolate parfait, very YUMMILICIOUS!
Bombe Alaska – $17.90
This is a lovely place to catch up with friends over drinkies or desserts. The stooges and I will definitely be back to check out the dinner menu and if their desert is anything to go by, I CANNOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT! I’ll be back Entrecote and when I do, I shall eat everything on the menu.
The Stooges and I received 25% off the bill with the Entertainment Book at Entrecote. If you are interested in purchasing the Entertainment Book for loads (and I mean LOADS) of awesome sauce foodie discounts and 20% of memberships sold will go to Sane Australia, just click here.
