Shopping with Mr D in the city and we spotted a new Korean Fried Chicken eatery and of course we had to stop by and check it out!
Luckily we were peckish around 1PM and just missed the lunch rush hour and the place hasn’t filled up yet and managed to get a table. Menus were handed to us and we decided real quick on drinks – coke for Mr D and Mandarin juice for moi. The juice was YUMMILICOUS but it was disappointing to see it didn’t fill up the whole cup. The could have at least chuck in ice to make it appear fuller but oh wells.
Mr D decided to get the crispy korean style chicken schnitzel with rice. It was pretty decent sized and the chicken, OH EM GEE it was YUMMO!! It was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and the sauce, by golly the sauce was Oh so good!. Even the salad dressing was pretty good and had a zing to it.
Crispy Koren-Style Chicken Schnitzel – $11
I was only peckish so I got the kim chi fries and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! It had chips, cheese, sour cream, KIM CHI, pork belly. Mix everything in and you get the most FANTABULOUS chips creation EVER! Be warned though, it is quite spicy (my spiciness tolerance is quite low…) due to the kimchi but totally worth it.
KimChi Fries – $12
Definitely a joint where I’ll be coming back and we gotta try the chicken wings when we do. Be sure to get the kimchi fries or else you’ll have regrets! Also, it does get quite busy so be prepared to wait (put on your waiting shoes yo!).
