The babies decided they wanted to try out the new sushi train place and so I third wheeled them and ended up at Sushi Hub. At the front of the store you can buy sushi to either take away or eat in. The babies weren’t interested in that, no siree, they were interested in the sushi train and that was fully packed! We had to line up waited for maybe 15 minutes in peak lunch time.
Where they asked us to line up, it was such an inconvenient spot, right at the cashier, right where they brought out the food, right where people exited from the sushi train. When we did finally get a seat at the booth, we were ready for some sushi!
Basically, the dishes were colour coded and depending what colour you picked, there was a price attached to it. We LOVED the seared scallop and the seared salmon nigri! IT WAS SO DELISH!!! I quite liked the eel nigri but I was the only one who enjoyed it (More for me YO!).
Seared Salmon Nigri
Seared Scallop Nigri
Seared Eel Nigri
Prawn Tempura Nigri
Ta-da! Our Completed Plates!
The service was average (the staff all looked so flustered), the food was pretty decent for the price but I don’t think I’ll come back here. There are other nicer sushi trains in Melbourne and I’ll most likely be going there instead.
