It was a family day out and whilst shopping, mumsy and daddy bear got a touch thirsty, thirsty for some caffeine. Luckily we were shopping in Emporium and a cute little cafe named Cafe Blush caught our eye. Cafe Blush is a Japanese inspired cafe and mumsy bear thought it was the cutest cafe ever. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table immediately.
Mumsy bear got a cappuccino and it was totes creamy. However, it wasn’t smooth or strong at all and it wasn’t fragrant either which was disappointing.
Cappuccino – $4
Daddy bear got a latte and unfortunately it didn’t hit the spot for him either. It was quite weak and tasted diluted which was disappointing.
Latte – $4
When the matcha latte came out, there was a cute mouse / hamster / some sort of cute animal on it. It was very matcha tasting and very smooth. It had a hint of bitterness to it but who doesn’t love matcha? It definitely gave me the hit I needed.
Matcha Latte – $5
The green tea crepe cake is from Le Mille Creperie so you know they’re good. Inside the layers, there was red bean and that cuts the flavour of the green tea. It’s not too sweet, it’s light and mumsy bear absolutely LOVED it!

Cafe Blush is a very cute cafe located in Emporium and is the sister cafe to Calia. The coffees were quite average but the crepe was delish. We’ll have to come back to check out the food menu.
