Mrs Creative was back in the country which means CATCH UP time with the creative couple (WOOHOO!). Mr D picked the brunch place and dun dun dun….he picked Manchester Press, hidden in an alley way.
There’s a clipboard out in front where you write down your name and how many people in are in your party and you just wait in the alleyway and wait till they call out your name. After 10 minutes or so, Mr D’s name got called out in we skipped. The creative couple were running a tad (well…really) late so Mr D and myself grabbed ourselves a latte while waiting. The coffee was pretty good and woke up me straight away (helloooo world!).
Latte
I got the chroizo open bagel because it had CHEESE and chorizo (Yummo!!). This was AWESOME SAUCE! Be warned though, the tomato relish did give a punch and a tad spicy.
Open Bagel: Chorizo – $14
Mr D got the MP club sandwich because it basically has a gazillion meats in there and he enjoyed it (even though he had a sick tummy….naw). He didn’t include the cheese in it though (booo!).
Closed Bagel: The MP Club Sandwich – $14.50
Mr Creative got the Texas BBQ pulled pork and he was super excited because he LOVES pulled pork *drools*. Anywho, once he had a bite of it, he was very disappointed and found it to be quite average.
Closed Bagel: Texas BBQ Pulled Pork – $15.50
Mrs Creative got the chia pudding (so delicate) and she didn’t finish it at all. We both (yes I had some too hohoho!) found it to be super duper sweet and not something I’d get for breakfast.
Chia Pudding – $13.50
Overall, the vibe was great, the staff were attentive and friendly and the food, well if you enjoy bagels and coffee, this is the place to hit up (Yep, cool Linnie is coming out).
