I’ve been religiously booking restaurants via Dimmi and even offering to be the booker in my group of friends so I can get the Dimmi points. So we looked around our area where we could use our Dimmi Rewards and decided on Mister Greens Cafe. I made the booking online and BAM turned up at the venue. There’s plenty of parking in front of Mister Greens and if there’s no space, there’s parking in front of kfc and woolies too. We walked in and said that we had a reservation, the staff had no clue about the booking (even though I had a confirmation email…?) and luckily it wasn’t too busy yet so there were plenty of free tables around.
We sat down and none of the staff proceeded to give us menus and we basically had to get the menus and cutlery ourselves which was quite poor service already.
The mango smoothie was very disappointing since we couldn’t really taste the mango.

I got the Ragu Penne and this was pretty delish. Very comforting, rich and flavoursome. However, I found it to be quite dry.
Ragu Penne – $23
Premium beef mix served with housemade meat sauce
Mr D got the chicken parmigiana and he was super duper excited. It came with a side of salad and chippies. The chippies was crunchy and seasoned very well. Mr D was going to town on this parma until the worst thing that could ever happen to chicken happened to him. It was raw in the middle, like a pinkish clear raw kinda meat. We alerted the staff and they gave us a very lackluster apology and didn’t really acknowledge it. The did make a new one for us but at this point, Mr D has lost his appetite and couldn’t enjoy it at all.
Chicken Parmigiana – $24
House-crumbed chicken breast topped with tomato relish, leg ham, mozzarella with garden salad and chips
Unfortunately due to the poor service, uncooked chicken and the mango smoothie, I wouldn’t be coming back at all.
