Mrs Creative had a trial for a job and suggested NeNe chicken for some fried fingerlickin’ chicken for dinner. NeNe chicken is located in the new food court on Level 1 at Highpoint and has been opened for quite a while now. It was a touch busy and we were baffled with the choice. We decided to get the regular original pieces because hey, who could beat original anything. It came with complimentary coleslaw and radish.
We both found the chicken to be super duper oily and we felt really fatty eating it. The coleslaw was on the bland side as well.
I’m a sucker for chippies with kimchi and bulgogi beef. This too was on the disappointing side with the beef with hardly any bulgogi flavour and the chippies were quite soggy even though they were cooked fresh.
Bulchi Chips – $8.95
There are many places great for korean fried chicken and this isn’t one of them. If you’re craving for some fried chicken, perhaps head on down to Gami for some chicken and beer.
