While wondering around Florence, it was dinner time and it was pouring down cats and dogs. We ducked into the first restaurant we saw and it was Il Salibecco and opted for indoors.

The staff were lovely and very attentive and not at all pushy (that drives Mr D the other way, pushy staff). Mr D got the cabonara and he didn’t like it once again (will he EVER find a cabonara he’ll like?). It was a bit bland but it wasn’t too bad.

I ordered the spaghetti meatballs and the meatballs were AMAZEBALLS! The suace, the spaghetti, the meatballs, it was AWESOME!! Mr D was so jealous of my meatballs but lucky for him I gave him one (I’m considerate like that).

Friendly staff, great meatball spaghetti and nice atmosphere, I would definitely come back here.
