Aaah the Yarra Valley, who doesn’t love it? Beautiful wines and vineyard, beautiful trees and scenery and most importantly, beautiful food. Immerse Winery is located in Dixons Creek (practically in Yarra Valley) with beautiful surroundings and a beautiful rustic venue to match. With ample parking spots, there’s definitely a spot for everyone.
Zonzo Estate, Yarra Glen
The stooges were due for a catch up so we decided to visit Zonzo since well, we all love the yarra valley and we love our wines. We booked Zonzo a few weeks in advance and even then we were lucky to get a spot as it was super duper packed on the day. Also an FYI, you need to place a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold a reservation so be prepared for that. Anywho, the place is beautiful surrounded by a vineyard and just breathtaking scenery like everywhere else in the winery. When we arrived we were seated on a long communal table (yes, nearly all the tables were communal which was very community like which was nice) and started our ordering spree.
Olivigna, Warrandyte
Mr D and I haven’t been out and about for a while so we decided to cash in one of his mate’s good food voucher at Olivigna since Miss Teeth has rated this place quite highly. We made a booking for a Saturday night and it was quite full when we arrived. A lot of parking, beautiful atmosphere and I bet a spectacular looking vineyard if we were to come in the daytime. Anywho, once we arrived, we were shown to our seat and I flicked through the menu quite quickly since I was super duper hungry! We were given the house bread and olive oil (grown from their olive grove) which was awesomely amazing!
