It was that time of the day again, dinner time and after walking around which felt like FOREVER, we decided to enter Ramen Ya on Bourke Street. We were basically the only customers since it was 6PM (senior citizen time). It was very spacious and located right next to the food court which they tried to cover with the huge banner.

8 Bit, Footscray
8 bit has been around for a while now and they’ve opened up in the CBD and since my friend, Mr Slowpoke hadn’t tried it yet, we decided to head to Footscray to pop his 8 Bit cherry.
Hung Phat, St Albans
Hung Phat use to be called Ha Long and is also now under new management. This is the gang’s usual spot for when we wanted to catch up over cheap food and welcome to stay as long as we like. However, this wasn’t the case when we went here on a saturday night. It was only 8PM and it was empty, hardly any customers and we got a table for 5 immediately. I ordered wonton soup with egg noodles (LOVE THEM WONTONS) and it was a bit below average.

ITALY: Il Nido Del Pettirosso, Roma
It was our last night in Rome which meant our last night of our amazing European holiday and I was getting a little sad with the quality of food I was encountering. Mr D and I both agreed that we’re going to go away from the main roads and straight into the alley ways (recommend going into alleyway with another person…not alone haha). After what seemed like HOURS of walking, we stumbled across this quaint and adorable place where the signage was of a robin in a tux (HOW ADORABLE IS THAT?) and they only had an italian menu. This place gave me a good feeling so in we went.
ITALY: Il Salimbecco, Firenze (Florence)
While wondering around Florence, it was dinner time and it was pouring down cats and dogs. We ducked into the first restaurant we saw and it was Il Salibecco and opted for indoors.
ITALY: Ristorante Da Sabrina, Venezia (Venice)
For our last night in Venice Mr D and I walked around the streets to find a super cute place for dinner. Mr D didn’t want to go since I forgot the map (oopsie daisies) and we landed at Ristorante Da Sabrina.
ITALY: Al Giardinetto da Severino, Venice
We finally arrived in Venice and it was super late (not really super, maybe just 6PM..but I eat at grandma time!) so we asked the concierge at our hotel to recommend a place and they suggested Al Giardinetto da Severino which was literally down the road.
FRANCE: La Tete A Toto, Paris
Miss Tour Guide and her hubby decided to take us out for some FRENCH food because you guessed it, we were in FRANCE! They took us to la tete a toto and the setting is a classroom in a school where the tables and chairs they used were what was used in a school (nerd alert!). It was super adorable as!!
FRANCE: Le Bistro Melrose, Paris
Mr D’s cousin (yes, another fam bam outing) took us out for dinner and you guessed it, FRENCH CUISINE! Through the hustle and bustle of Place De Clichy was a cute restaurant with neon lights called Le Bistro Melrose.
