I’ve been looking for different ramen places to check out and a friend had suggested Mr Ramen San in Little Bourke Street so I ventured in and it’s a very small and cosy place so be prepared to wait outside. Pro tip, you need everyone in your party present before you can even get a table and boys and girls, it does get buy around dinner time. Anywho, walking in, the staff were super duper friendly and we got right into ordering our meals.
To start off we got one a strawberry beer and a pineapple beer. Basically, it was flavoured beer. Nice, refreshing and the pineapple was sickly sweet. I loved the strawberry one but I wouldn’t be ordering these again, will just get regular beer instead.
Strawberry Beer & Pineapple Beer (Regular) – $9.90
The pork gyoza was crispy on the bottom and juicy on the inside. Was it delish? It definitely was!
Pork Gyoza (5pc) – $6.80
The charsu tonkotsu ramen was quite light and I did not feel heavy whilst eating it. There were generous amounts of noodles and the egg was awesomely cooked. A very fragrant bowl of ramen!
Charsu Tonkotsu Ramen – $13.90
Mr Ramen San is a great place to check out for a good bowl of ramen. Oh, the best thing is you can get free noodles refill or ‘kae-dama’. Mr Ramen San, I will definitely be back!
