I was in the city for some training and it was lunch time, which meant I needed to find a place to eat on my lonesome. Since it was forecast to rain, I didn’t want to venture too far and BAM I found a cute little espresso bar, Sbriga.
What caught my eyes were the standing tables (not really because you still get chairs)! How adorable is that? So in I went and got a table for 1.
I walked past the counter and my gosh, everything looks AMAZEBALL! I just wanted every single thing in there but knowing my tummy, I’ll only be able to pick 2 things only….
After what seems like hours later, I finally decided on a pizza which I kinda forgot what it was cold (hangry Linnie came out to play by now). Nonetheless, this was oh so yummilicious! Melted cheese, salami, olives and mushroom on a bed of a crispy dough. I was loving this pizza and I totally devoured it.
Even though I was super full, I couldn’t leave without trying dessert. The only thing that tickled my fancy was the portuguese tart and I thought it was pretty decent. It was creamy, the pastry was crispy but there wasn’t anything jumping out at me. I would get it again if I needed something to satisfy my sweet tooth but I wouldn’t rush back for it.
Portuguese Tart
The staff made me feel very welcomed as I stepped into the bar, constantly checking up on me ensuring I wasn’t too lonely. The pizza was AWESOME SAUCE and I’ll want to come back to check out the rest of the desserts in the glass counter. It’s a cute hidden gem with lovely staff, come by for a hit of caffeine or just enjoy people watching while you have lunch.
