When I heard that there was a cheese high tea at Westin Hotel in collaboration with Maker & Monger, I had to make a reservation at once! When we arrived, we were made our way to the bar to let the staff know that we had a reservation. We sat down and checked out the menu. So for $70 per person, you get a range of cheese savouries to sweets with unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Miss Marple’s Tearoom, Sassafras
Every single time I’ve been to 1000 steps in Mount Dandenong, I always wanted to try the scones at Miss Marple’s Tearoom but it was always full (and I mean chock a block). This time around, Mr D and I arrived at 11am on the dot (when they first open) and snagged a table for 2. We were finally in Miss Marple’s (hurray!!).
UK: Promenade at The Dorchester, Mayfair (London)
Seeing as we were in London, I made reservations at The Dorchester for Afternoon tea since I couldn’t be in the UK and NOT have high tea (how crazy!). We got there a tad early (15 minutes isn’t THAT early…) and waited for our table to be ready.
