Mr D’s cousin (yes, another fam bam outing) took us out for dinner and you guessed it, FRENCH CUISINE! Through the hustle and bustle of Place De Clichy was a cute restaurant with neon lights called Le Bistro Melrose.
FRANCE: Pierre Herme, Paris (Galeries Lafayette)
We met up with Mr D’s friend, Miss Tour Guide and she took us to Galeries Lafayette and showed us her fav macrons in town – Pierre Herme.
FRANCE: Ristorante Del Arte, Paris (centre Commercial Val d’Europe)
Mr D’s fam bam decided to drop by and have lunch with us after we shopped and they decided on Ristorante Del Arte to prepare us for Italy.
FRANCE: Mon Chou Paris (Centre Commercial du Val d’Europe)
It was bad weather so Mr D’s fam bam suggested that we go shopping for the day and Mr D needed a pick me up espresso so we stopped by Mon Chou Paris and I needed a pick me up sugar.
FRANCE: Du Cote De Chez Alexandra, Lognes
Mr D’s fam bam decided to take us to the local french restaurant (because….we’re finally in FRANCE!!) for dinner and it was so cute.
UK: The Hummingbird Bakery, Soho (London)
Whilst doing some shopping in Soho, we walked past this cute little bakery called The Hummingbird and of course I made Mr D go in and get me a cupcake!
UK: Promenade at The Dorchester, Mayfair (London)
Seeing as we were in London, I made reservations at The Dorchester for Afternoon tea since I couldn’t be in the UK and NOT have high tea (how crazy!). We got there a tad early (15 minutes isn’t THAT early…) and waited for our table to be ready.
UK: Laduree, Knightsbridge, London (Harrods)
Mr D and I stopped by Harrods to check it out and stumbled across Laduree on the ground floor. Being the sweet tooth that I am, I was in heaven and everything looked magical.
Hash Specialty Coffee & Roasters, Melbourne
I’ve been seeing photos of this amazing hot chocolate with fairy floss and I convince the creative couple to drop by for some coffee (OR HOT CHOCOLATE!!!). We got there at 2:30PM and was pretty surprised that it wasn’t packed. You know you’re here when you see the sign with the hast tag (get it?? because it’s called HASH!).
Hako, Melbourne
Dinner with the gang again and we (when I said we I mean Mr Burberry) felt like Japanese. He chose Hako for a Saturday dinner and of course Melbourne was pouring down raining. We got inside it was actually quite cosy. It felt really modern and fun inside.
