There’s a new guy in town and he’s ready to rock your after work drinks games. Enter Young’s Wine Room. They just opened in late Feb and I was invited to attend their launch night. There’s a small outdoor area, an epic looking bar and lots of places for you to enjoy your drinks or get nice and cosy on a date.
Il Dolce Freddo, Carlton
Il Dolce Freddo is located on the busy street of Lygon street and has been around FOREVER! I’ve been here a few times back in the day when I was at uni (feels like forever ago) and it has recently changed management. So that means new flavours and a new look.
Cafe Louis, Fitzroy
Cafes and brunches are a big part of Melbourne culture and there’s never a shortage of cafes to visit. One popped up four months ago in Fitzroy just off the busy streets of Brunswick Street. A very modest Cafe Louis on Moor street is very inviting and when you step inside, it’s so spacious that you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. Voted as one of the most beautiful cafes in Melbourne, you will definitely understand when you stepped inside, exactly how both
Da Peppe Trattoria, Brunswick
On the busy street of Lygon in Brunswick East sits an Italian Eatery called Da Peppe. Walking in you definitely get a warm vibe and the staff are so friendly that you can’t help but smile when they speak to you. We sat down and was so excited to check out the food.
Zero 95 Pizza Bar, Doncaster East
Zero 95 has been on my list for a while with everyone suggesting that I should hit it up and they had won best Margherita in the world in 2016. So…I made a booking, snagged a table and got ready for a carby night with the girlies.
Kumo Izakaya & Sake Bar, Brunswick East
Taking full advantage of the
Vamos, Melbourne
Vamos was definitely a hidden restaurant on Little Bourke Street and it’s not very obvious where it was. Inside what looks like an apartment building and up the elevators, you’ll get hit in the face with a cozy and spanish vibe when the elevator doors opened. They have live music which is always a plus AND it’s super romantic so boys and girlies, take note.
MKS Spices’n Things, Dandenong
Working around the South East suburbs, a colleague suggested we hit up MKS
The Rouge Squire, Wheelers Hill
Exploring the eateries around work, we found another place to hit up, The Rogue Squire. A booking was made and a entered we go. The Rogue Squire is a brewhouse that offers, you got it, beer, beer and beer. BUT, we’re not here for the beer, we’re here for the food. Walking in, we pass through the downstairs pub area, take the stairs and we entered the eating area.
Madeline’s at Jells, Wheelers Hill
New job meant new places to eat and we made a booking at Madeline’s at Jells which is located right inside Jells Park by the lake. It’s a very cosy venue and the staff were quite friendly. We were shown to our table and BAM we started ordering because, well, everyone was super duper hungry.
