Glen Waverly is reknown for their food and when a new restaurant pops up, everyone knows about it. K-Town Restaurant and Bar is located in the Montclair Avenue Building. Don’t be fooled though, when you step out of the elevator, it has a very modern decor, pumping music and friendly and attentive staff. We got there smack bang at lunch time and we were the first ones in which meant we got to pick our table. Once seated, we flicked through the menu and started our little feast.
The Grand Tofu, Glen Waverly
Another Friday means another eatery at Glen Waverly and this time it was The Grand Tofu. Now if you’ve ever walked past here, it gets super duper busy so we decided to get there just before lunch time. We were able to get a table for 6 quick smart and we already knew what we were ordering.
O’Town, Glen Waverly
We decided to duck into here for a quick dinner since we were all starving and cold on a Saturday night. Luckily we arrived when we did at 7pm because as soon as we were seated a huge rush of customers came in (like they all just teleported here all at once!). There was no service at all. We didn’t receive any menus and had to keep asking for it and finally they brought it around AND they gave us one less (I was the sacrifice and had to wait patiently).
Kimchi Hut, Glen Waverly
A spur of the moment decision to go to Kimchi Hut for some Korean food in Glen Waverly (there isn’t a lot of Korean restaurants around here which is a bit disappointing).
