5th of September was National Cheese Day and I found out that 400 Gradi was going to do a special pizza with 99 different cheese. Can you even name 99 different types of cheese because I sure can’t. This got me super pumped so Mr Angry Asian and I decided to take a trip to the Essendon venue to check out this grand pizza.
Yeonga Korean BBQ Restaurant, North Melbourne
Ing Doi Thai, Collingwood
Catch up with the girlies once again and we were struggling for places to book last minute. We remembered Ing Doi and thought to ourselves, its been a while since we’ve been back so we booked Ing Doi and prepared ourselves for some Thai all you can eat. Woohoo!
Three Monkeys Place, Doncaster East
It was our last catch up with the Traveling couple before the jetset off for two years so we decided to do the most Melbourne thing and have brunch at the most cutie patootie cafe name Three Monkeys Place in Doncaster East.
Pierre’s Pizza, St Albans
It was Daddy Bear’s birthday and we decided to have pizzas because it was a treat! There’s a local pizza joint which I absolutely adored and it’s a 2 minute drive – Pierre’s Pizza!
Spare Me Kitchen Launch, Fitzroy
Glamorama is a new bar in Fitzroy that has been opened for over 6 months now and their interior is so retro-ly designed and has an extensive drinkies list. Inside Glamorama, you can find a dining option called Spare Me Kitchen serving modern Australian dishes.
Higher Ground, Melbourne
Today Stooge 1 and I were on our way to write postcards for terminally ill children which is such a lovely meet up but before we did, we needed to have brunch. Today’s pick was Higher Ground, the latest cafe from the teams from Top Paddock and Kettle Black. Luckily, we arrived at 10AM so it wasn’t full yet and we got a seat within 5 mins of arriving.
Aqua S, Melbourne
The signature blue sea salt flavoured soft serve, Aqua S has finally extended its wings and have landed in Melbourne. So I wanted (actually needed) to try it and convinced Mr Angry Asian to go after our work dinner. There was only 30 minutes before closing time so we ran as fast as our little legs could take us and BAM we were in front of Aqua S.
Seamstress, Melbourne
Work’s big boss was in town to visit and he wanted to have dinner with our team to get to know us better so guess who was in charge of finding a place? You got it! It was me! I looked through my wishlist and saw Seamstress. So I made a booking for a Wednesday night and headed on in.
West End Market Hotel, Sunshine North
It was Mr Hipster’s birthday (well it was the day before) and we decided to have lunch next door at the pub because, well, because pubs are Mr Hipster’s second home. Miss Mousey made a call to West End Market Hotel and pre-ordered our meals so by the time we got there, our food would be ready. Lunchtime came around and we made our way to West End for some pub grub.
