Coombe Melba Estate, Coldstream

The stooges were sleeping over and of course we had to brunch in the Yarra Valley or Coldstream. I made a booking for Coombe, the Melba Estate and  boy, was it beautiful. We got into the carpark and Coombe was hidden away behind these huge hedges. Once you step through the hedges, it was MAGNIFICENT! It was serene, it was gorgeous and best of all, it was classy!

Korchi, Clayton

Exploring Clayton for a feed, we landed on Korchi for some korean goodness. Located close to Clayton station, there isn’t a lot of parking around so you might have to park a few streets down and walk there. On a Friday lunch, it was quite busy but we got a seat for 5 within 5 minutes (crowds of people were starting to leave already). We got a seat, menus to check out and put our order through.

Persian Flavours, Forrest Hill

When Miss Chanel wanted to come back to Persian Flavours, who am I to deny her for an outing. So we booked the place at 6:30PM on a Tuesday night and boy, when we got there, the whole place was empty. Throughout the night people trickled in and a lot of customers came for the takeaway. Anywho, we were seated by the friendly staff and had a looksie through the menu.

Double Happiness Bar, Melbourne

After dinner it was only 8PM so we decided to head over to a bar for some drinkies since we were still young and hip. One of the guys in the group suggested double happiness and of course we just pitter pattered into the bar. It was hidden away with the large double happiness sign in front in Chinese characters. Pushing the doors inside, we went in and was greeted with awesome sauce decor.

The Corner Shop, Yarraville

Before I started my new job, I thought I’ll take mumsy bear out for a brunch date since we never really do that often. I thought I should take her to Yarraville since that’s where all the cool kids were at. We got to The Corner Shop and she absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, the decor was just very Melburnian and she felt oh so comfy in there which was the most important part. We were seated and was handed a menu to have a flick through to decide what we were going to devour!

Brother Nancy, West Footscray

One of the stooges have been raving on and on about Brother Nancy and when I finally had a day free, I decided to meet up Mr Angry for some brunch. It didn’t look amazing in the front but it was quite cute once you step inside. When you step in, you’ll be greeted by the friendly staff and it’s quite cosy inside as well so be prepared to be saying hey to the next table!

Bekendales, Croydon

When the girlies came over for a sleepover, I decided to find a local brunch spot and after a while, I saw Bekendales has been around for 9 or so years with raving reviews. So I bundled them all into the car and dashed to the cafe to for our little brunch date. It was quite cute inside, not the usual Melbourne cafes but cute nonetheless. There were outdoor seatings for those who enjoy a little fresh air and it’s not too loud either. We walked in, got a table and started to flick through the menu.

Jasper Coffee, Maribyrnong (Highpoint Shopping Centre)

Since I had a few weeks off before I start my new job (Wooohooo!) so I decided to catch up with the Creative couple for some coffee (because we’re fancy YO!). They took me to Jasper’s Coffee in Highpoint because well, I don’t really go to coffee places since I don’t drink coffee. Anywho, we walked in, found a booth and decided what we all wanted.

Goldeluck’s Bakeshop, Croydon

Goldeluck’s Bakery has been popping up on social media like wildfire and since the girlies were down in Croydon, I decided to take them by the bakery to check it out. Walking in, we weren’t sure if we were in the right place since we were expecting a place filled with doughnuts from the bottom up. It was an ordinary bakery and saw the little sign on top so we definitely knew we were in the right place.
