A good thing about working in Mulgrave is that you’re real close to plenty of food places to hit up. We decided to venture out and check out Oasis. I’ve heard of Oasis since Mr D regularly brings home sweets for me (sweet right??!) and I was super duper excited to have lunch here. It’s on the main road and there’s a carpark around the back of the venue. As we walked in, there’s the cafe on the right side and a grocer on the left side so after eating, you can definitely pick up anything else you need to bring home.
Rumi Restaurant, East Brunswick
Catching up with the K sisters meant another feast at a middle eastern restaurant so we always made sure we have our eating pants on. Our next food destination? Rumi, located in East Brunswick. Walking in, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff and an atmosphere that just relaxes you and puts you in the mood for some partying. So of course we sat down, and flicked through the drinkies menu because you can’t have a party without any cocktails, am I right?
Northern Perk Cafe, Brunswick
Those who are always on facebook will have noticed a certain breakfast tower popping up on their feed which looks like it could feed a town. This breakfast tower was the sole reason why the K sisters chose Northern Perk as our next location for our catch up session. There’s a lot of parking on the side streets and if you get there early, you won’t miss out.
Balha’s Pastry, Brunswick
After having brunch at Zaatar, the K sisters took us on a Lebanese adventure for some desserts (YAYERS!). When you step inside, there’s a ticket thingy (how technical is that word YO?!) where you need to get a ticket to get served (SO FANCY!).
