Minh Ky, Springvale

We were down in the Springvale area and I was getting super hungry so Mr D took me to the place where everyone goes to have vietnamese food – Minh Ky. It was super busy all the time but we managed to have our lunch at 2PM and there were still 3 tables full. Hung Phat, St Albans

Hung Phat use to be called Ha Long and is also now under new management. This is the gang’s usual spot for when we wanted to catch up over cheap food and welcome to stay as long as we like. However, this wasn’t the case when we went here on a saturday night. It was only 8PM and it was empty, hardly any customers and we got a table for 5 immediately. I ordered wonton soup with egg noodles (LOVE THEM WONTONS) and it was a bit below average.

Treviet, Sunshine

It’s located right next to Harvey Norman and right opposite to Bunnings. We got there at 2:30PM (yep, late lunch…I was STARVING!) and there was hardly anyone in sight.

Quang Vinh, St Albans

I decided to come here for lunch with my workmates and didn’t bother make a booking since I never really had to before. We arrived and got a table for 4 immediately. Menus were handed to us along with oolong tea (yep tea to wash away the oil AND to make my belly feel warm and fuzzy). We ordered and our food arrived. HOWEVER, our table didn’t have cutlery and upon telling the waiter, he just grabbed it from another table (how rude….wowzer…).
