I haven’t seen Mr Slowpoke in a while so it meant, catch up time. We decided to go somewhere local and he suggested Red Beetle Cafe in Caroline Springs (it wasn’t THAT local). It wasn’t too busy when we got there which is always a plus in my books and we sat our tooshies down.
The Local Burger Co, Croydon
Whilst in Croydon hanging out, I was getting a bit peckish so we wandered around until I laid my eyes on a burger joint – The Local Burger Co. Mr D could not refuse a burger eatery so we marched our way in. It’s really cosy inside and if it’s full, there’s always outdoor seating too.
Found 401, Sunshine
It was baby A’s last day in Melbourne so we decided to grab lunch on my lunch break. The babies picked me up and off we went on an adventure.
Abb’s Kebabs, Kealba
It was a late Saturday night (well for me anyway) and I was craving kebabs. Luckily for me, the babies just came home (party animals WOOOHOO!) and I convince them to drive us to get some KEBABS YO! We went Abb’s kebabs because we heard it’s good and its quite newish.
Ribs & Burgers, Northcote
My grandparents were in town and daddy bear wanted to take them to try out Ribs & Burgers (yes, he is more hip than I am) so we had a whole fam bam outing and made our way to the Northcote one at Northcote Plazza. Baby A suggested to make a booking since he said the eatery was quite small so I called up and they don’t take reservations (WHAT??? Why?? I don’t want to waittttt) and said there are usually seats free around 7:30PM so in we went.
Jimmy Grants, Melbourne (Emporium)
Mr D was a touch peckish and needed something to eat. I suggested the souva at Jimmy Grants and he said it was GINORMOUS and decided to go for the kiddies one instead (KIDS??? WHAT??!!).
FRANCE: Pedra Alta, Pontault-Combault (Paris)
Mr D’s cousin took us out to a Portuguese restaurant for our last night in Paris. It was quite busy but luckily we managed to get a table.
Menu – how adorable!
The Grand Trailer Park Taverna, Melbourne
I finally got to come here and I decided to take Mr D out (Yes, I took him and not the other way around, Ka-ching!). We got there at 11:30am on a Saturday and thank god they open at 11:30am!
