There’s a new guy in town and he’s ready to rock your after work drinks games. Enter Young’s Wine Room. They just opened in late Feb and I was invited to attend their launch night. There’s a small outdoor area, an epic looking bar and lots of places for you to enjoy your drinks or get nice and cosy on a date.

We were greeted with a Tom Collins and my golly gosh, anything that has gin, definitely sign me up. It was refreshing and the gin definitely hits you in the face, just the way I like it.

The sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese topped on garlic focaccia was definitely a got to snack. It’s savoury, it’s tangy and most of all, it was delish and I’m not a huge fan of goat cheese at all.

The croqueta, the cheesy goodness in little fried balls or aka croquettes. THEY WERE DELISH! Anything with cheese is delish and there was cheese oozing out once you bit into it.

If you know me, you’d know that I’m quite fussy when it comes to lamb. I love lamb if it doesn’t have the lamb smell. The lamb skewers that came around, mixed with herbs and spices were absolutely AMAZEBALLS! I couldn’t get enough of them AND they were not dry at all. WINNING!

Young’s Wine Room is definitely the place to be. The preview of the food we got were amazing and something that we’ll definitely be back for. Drinks? Food? Atmosphere? Service? YES YES YES YES!! Four yeses from me!
