After a hard day at work, we needed to stop for lunch and when we passed a seafood place in Rosebud, we just had to stop by. Walking in we were greeted by friendly staff and had their attention the whole time. It wasn’t super busy on a Thursday but that just means we’ll get our food way quicker!

Whilst waiting for our food to come, we got complimentary arancini ball. However, it was quite disappointing and was very salty.

Since we ordered the Chef’s signature dish Seafood marinara, we got a few seafood tools all prepared for our eating feast.

When the seafood marinara came out, it looked quite large (we were told that it would be large enough to share between two people). However, upon closer inspection, there wasn’t a lot of spaghetti but the generous amount of shells on the prawns, crabs and mussels gave it a larger then it looks illusion. Taste wise? It was too very disappointing. The seafood didn’t seem fresh and was quite mushy, overall it was very oily and not a lot of flavour. It was quite disappointing considering that this is one of their signature dishes.

The fries however, were great! Very crunchy, seasoned well and I just absolutely LOVED it!

Fries with Aioli – $7.50

I ended the meal with a chai latte and this was just powdered chai and that was quite disappointing.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy the seafood marinara, the arancini balls nor the chai latte. We did enjoy the chippies but would we come back for just the chippies? I wouldn’t and will be looking around the area for somewhere else to drop by. Sorry Unica Cucina E Caffe.
