One of the stooges have been raving on and on about Brother Nancy and when I finally had a day free, I decided to meet up Mr Angry for some brunch. It didn’t look amazing in the front but it was quite cute once you step inside. When you step in, you’ll be greeted by the friendly staff and it’s quite cosy inside as well so be prepared to be saying hey to the next table!
I got the chai latte and this was oh so delicious! It was smooth, it was creamy and I absolutely LOVED it!
Chai Latte – $3.50
I got the corn fritters and these were AWESOME SAUCE. Everything was so great! The balance was perfect but I found the dish to be a touch heavy due to the beans.
Corn Fritters – $16.50
smoked paprika red beans, mixed herb, cucumber and jalapeno salad, quenelle of soft cheese
Mr Angry got the savoury crepes and I LOVED IT MORE THAN MY DISH! It was just AMAZEBALL!! I could have eaten all his if he wasn’t sitting there.
Savoury Crepe – $15
leeks, potato, mushroom veloute, with spinach, walnut dressing
For dessert we got one of the specials, the crepe souffle. We thoroughly enjoyed this, having a citrus zing to it made it quite refreshing.
Crepe Souffle – $12
French meringue citrus
Brother Nancy on a main road but it doesn’t get too busy. There’s an abundance of parking and we really liked the food they were serving up. We will definitely be back and cannot wait until we do return.
