Calia has been opened for quite some time and have been meaning to drop by. When the girlies decided to catch up, I suggested Calia in Emporium for easy access and of course for Japanese brunch. Luckily for us we got there early so we were able to get a table.
The matcha latte here was on point AND you even get latte art!

I absolutely ADORE unagi and everytime I see it on the menu, I guarantee you that I always get it and on this day, that is what I did. Man, the unagi bowl with unagi sauce and truffle egg was the BOMB! The grilled eel was so fragrant, the sauce was so addictive and that truffle egg, well who DOESN’T love truffle?!
Unagi Bowl – $22.60
Grilled eel with homemade unagi sauce and truffle egg
Calia serves amazing food and the staff were very attentive despite how flat out they were. The food was reasonably priced and we will definitely be back.
