It was Ms Curly Fries last day at work and we headed over to Young and Foolish for a goodbye lunch. It was a nice little cafe, convenient and we got the private area out back which was quite intimate and secluded. The staff were super friendly, accommodating and very patient considering that there were 12 of us there. They got our orders quick smart and we didn’t wait long till our food came out.

I got the the soup on the specials menu and it was a potato, leek and bacon soup. The soup was creamy and rich and full of flavour but it was a touch on the salty side. There was a generous amount of soup which is a BONUS! However, the bread rolls that came with the soup was very disappointing. They were hard and were not pleasant which was a shame.

This is a great little cafe with great staff and service. The soup was great for the price. However, if they used fresh bread rolls it would have made it perfect. We will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu.
