When people think of kebabs they think of a drunken night out and stumbling to the closest van or food truck to grab a big ol’ kebab to sober up. You all know about HSP packs and kebabs but have you had a HSP burger? No? Let me take you down to Rambo’s Kebabs in Clayton. Situated right next to the petrol station, you can either park at the servo or on the side street. The staff are friendly and efficient and will make sure you get your drunken (or in my case sober) feed.
Rumi Restaurant, East Brunswick
Catching up with the K sisters meant another feast at a middle eastern restaurant so we always made sure we have our eating pants on. Our next food destination? Rumi, located in East Brunswick. Walking in, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff and an atmosphere that just relaxes you and puts you in the mood for some partying. So of course we sat down, and flicked through the drinkies menu because you can’t have a party without any cocktails, am I right?
Herd Bar & Cafe, Healesville
The Creative couple were in town and we decided to take them to Herd Bar & Cafe for lunch. We made a booking on a Sunday but it wasn’t really busy at all so we didn’t really need to make a booking. Nonetheless, we went inside and the staff were super duper friendly and the decor was just suave and very intimate. We were shown to our table and my gosh the options looked oh so delish.
Marmara Turkish Restaurant, Windsor
Dimmi have been having a lot of flash sales where certain restaurants have discounts such as 50% off food. The girlies at work decided to have a night out and took advantage of this and booked Marmara for some Turkish food. We made a booking at Marmara and when we arrived, we were treated wonderfully. We could definitely tell that we were going to be looked after well.
Abb’s Kebabs, Kealba
It was a late Saturday night (well for me anyway) and I was craving kebabs. Luckily for me, the babies just came home (party animals WOOOHOO!) and I convince them to drive us to get some KEBABS YO! We went Abb’s kebabs because we heard it’s good and its quite newish.
Boreks, North Melbourne
As we walked past Queen Victoria Market on our way for lunch, my friend dragged me into the Deli Hall to introduce me to Boreks for a snack (I was getting quite Hangry at this point).
Bundoora Kebab, Bundoora
We were in the Bundoora area and it was 1:30pm and I was getting a little hangry which meant Mr D had to feed me immediately or else all hell breaks loose (yep, typical girls…). We decided to have kebabs and we walked in and the owners were gorgeous. They were so polite, lovely and so adorable. I decided to get the lamb kebab without any onions and with extra cheese for $9 and Mr D also got the lamb kebab in a combo which came with chips and a can of coke for $14. We got the coke from the fridge ourselves and sat down and they brought the food over – very quick service.
