I came here with a friend for dinner since she was craving Korean. We were in the area since we were seeing 112 (YEAH BOIIII!) and needed to stay close to the venue. I made a reservation on a Sunday night but we were a tad late but I called ahead to let them know (politeness FTW).
Gami Chicken & Beer, Melbourne (Little Lonsdale Street)
We decided to go to Gami before our little Escape Room adventure because its happy hour somewhere in the world right now, it’s Beer o’clock! My friend booked for a table of 5 on a Saturday for 12:30PM and when I arrived, I was really surprised that it wasn’t packed at all. We were seated upstairs and surprise surprise, it was fully empty!

Oppa Kitchen, Melbourne
Walking around aimlessly in the city trying to find a last minute place that we could walk in and have dinner with a friend, we decided on Korean. It was 8pm and we walked in and had to wait for 10 minutes till a table for 3 opened up. So we waited and looked at the neon lights and they gave us the cutest queue number stick ever, it had a ladybird and everything – we argued over if it was a ladybird or ladybug and realised it was both…
Kimchi Hut, Glen Waverly
A spur of the moment decision to go to Kimchi Hut for some Korean food in Glen Waverly (there isn’t a lot of Korean restaurants around here which is a bit disappointing).
D House Cafe, Melbourne
Went to D House Cafe for a Sunday lunch date on Swanston street and it was surprisingly pleasant. We were escorted to the upper level and seated right next to the window where we had good view of the busy passerby and enjoyed people watching.
