Aunty Franklee, Hawthorn

Aunty Franklee has been around for while and it’s known for its authentic Malaysian dishes. With two stores located in Hawthorn and Melbourne CBD, you know it’s good when they just keep popping up around Melbourne. The Hawthorn venue is located on the busy Burwood road and it is a tad difficult finding parking as they are all time limited. Pushing through the doors into the venue, you’re greeted by friendly staff and the delicious aroma of food cooking!

Ngon Vietnamese and Asian Cuisine, Highett

O’Kane Vietnamese Restaurant, Brunswick

I absolutely adore Vietnamese food and when there’s a new boy in Brunswick that just opened two months ago, I couldn’t resist. The decorations were oh so cute and the mural on the wall was beautiful. However, the tables and chairs didn’t really suit the restaurant but that’s another story.

48h Pizza & Gnocchi Bar, Elsternwick

When I hear Italian food I immediately think of pizzas, pastas, comfort food and basically awesome sauce food. So when I heard about 48h Pizza and Gnocchi Bar has opened in Elsternwick, I was oh so pumped to check them out. Located right next to the train station, it was easy to get to with loads of parking along the side streets. Walking into the eatery, you get a sensory overload and there is so many things going on whilst the lovely staff greets you, you just stumble along to your table.
