Lune Croissanterie, Melbourne

The legendary Lune Croissanterie. Croissant lovers all know about this cult eatery and all the lining up you have to do in the original Fitzroy store and since I’m not really a morning person, I’ve never done it. So when they opened up a store on Collins Street, it means I can definitely check it out. So when I had a free weekday, I took mumsy and daddy bear into the city to check out Lune.

Luckily for us, we got there at 1:30PM on a Wednesday and there wasn’t a line. One step inside the store and that sweet sweet buttery pastry aroma hits you in the face. I was definitely in pastry heaven. There were tables but it was all standing and they have free sparkling water as well. I got the traditional croissant to take away and noticed that it was only card payment so leave your cash at home guys.

HOLY MACARONI! The croissant was so fluffy, so buttery, so light and oh my effing TOTES AMAZEBALLS!

Traditional – $5.90

Finally have tried the legendary croissant, I now understand why everyone is raving about it AND how it is one of the best croissants in Melbourne. I will definitely be back for those buttery goodness!
