My old work lunch gang wanted to do an outing and of course our outing involves FOOD! Mr Tequila chose Aussie Steak n Burger in Docklands since we had the Entertainment Book discount as well. Located near the pier, there were plenty of parking on the street on a weeknight after 6PM and of course it was FREE! We made a booking and when we got there, we were greeted by the friendly staff. We took our seats and began to look over the menu while our grumbling tummies sang to each other.
Mr Tequila got the crocodile burger and he enjoyed it. I found it to be a strange texture and taste. It had a fishy taste to it but it’s texture was quite meaty and crumbled when you bite into it. I wasn’t a huge fan of it but I guess each to their own.
Croc Burger – $18.95
Flame grilled crocodile meat pattie with baby cos lettuce, tomato, cheese slice, jalapeno peppers, spanish onion & tomato chilli jam
Mr Surfer got the black angus burger and he smashed it. He absolutely thought it was quite delish and the chippies that came with the burgers were fantastical, super crunchy and full of seasoning. The meat patty was quite juicy but needed more flavouring in the burger itself.

I got the fillet mignon with mash on the side. The fillet was cooked medium rare but I found it still a touch tough when cutting through it. The mash itself was quite average as well.
Fillet Mignon 200g – $34.95
The staff were very friendly, the food was average but what was disappointing was that the food took a long time to come out. The chippies were lovely though but would I come back? I don’t think I will.
