Since I had a few weeks off before I start my new job (Wooohooo!) so I decided to catch up with the Creative couple for some coffee (because we’re fancy YO!). They took me to Jasper’s Coffee in Highpoint because well, I don’t really go to coffee places since I don’t drink coffee. Anywho, we walked in, found a booth and decided what we all wanted.

No one came to clear our table and when we did ask a staff, he grumbled and did a rough job without acknowledging us (that was rude buddy). So that being out of the way, you had to order at the counter and go back to your booth. Mr Creative and I got a latte and when it came out, they said 2 skinny lattes which wasn’t what we ordered. So Mr Creative took our drinkies and tried to tell the staff that this wasn’t what we ordered and the same guy that cleared our table just dismissed him (now that’s twice he was rude). So Mr Creative went straight up to the counter, told another staff member our little problem and she happily took it away and got us the correct drinkies.

Latte (Sml) – $4

Mrs Creative got the ice coffee and she quite enjoyed this. It was just what she needed on this hot Melbourne day.

Ice Coffee – $6.95

I didn’t mind the drinkies here but I did mind the service. I don’t understand why that staff member was so dismissive and rude to us but with this experience, I won’t be returning to the Highpoint branch again nor recommend others here. There are other places for coffee in Highpoint and I suggest you to take a walk and find somewhere that will have friendly staff.
