After a night of fried chicken, we explored Fitzroy for some desserts. Walking down Brunswick Street we walked by a french creperie called Breizoz. With such a good find, we had to run inside and satisfy our sweet tooth. Luckily for us, a party of 9, we were able to get a table since it was later in the night. The staff were absolutely lovely and best of all, they speak french too! We sat down and start to order to our hearts delight.
I got the basic butter and sugar with vanilla ice cream. The crepe was so fluffy, thin and oh so delectable. Very subtle flavours and their home made vanilla ice cream was the BOMB.
Butter and Sugar (with ice-cream) – $6 ($4)
One of the baby cousins got the honey and lemon and this was awesome sauce. The honey gave it a sweetness and they give you a wedge of lemon so you can administer your own sourness.
Honey and Lemon (with ice cream) – $6.50 ($4)
Finally, the last crepe was the jam and creme chantilly. Both the jam and creme chantilly were home made and these were amazing. The jam was absolutely to die for and I would definitely come back for this crepe!
Jam (with Creme Chantilly) – $6.50 ($3)
Breizoz French Creperie had a warm atmosphere with super helpful and friendly staff. The crepes were AMAZEBALL and I definitely will be back to try out all the flavours and to get me some of them jam.
