QLD: Betty’s Burgers, Noosa Heads

image

We were in Noosa Heads having a fam bam adventure and we were all getting hungry. Since we all came up to visit Baby A, he had the honours of picking our lunch spot. After walking up and down the strip of festivities, he laid his eyes on Betty’s Burgers. So we rushed in and was seated quite quickly.

We were given menus and you just walk up to the counter to order and they hand over a buzzing thing so you know when your order is up. When my buzzer was well, buzzing, I got up and a lovely staff rushed over and offered to collect my order and ushered me to sit my tooshie back down. He came over with our order and we were ready to smash EVERYTHING!

Baby A was really adamant on getting the strawberry thickshake (who even picks strawberry flavour these days?) and it was blended with frozen custard. Baby A did not enjoy this at all, he’d prefer the classic milkshake and not with frozen custard. Towards the end of the drink, you could really taste the egginess in the custard and that stopped us from finishing it.

Strawberry Thickshake – $8

It was now BURGER TIME! Mumsy bear got the pork belly because we found out that’s probably the only burger that she could eat. This was quite lovely. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, juicy and a tad crunchy on the skin. Mumsy Bear didn’t even share with anyone else.

Pork Belly – $11

Daddy Bear and myself got the Betty’s Classic because, well, who could go past the classic. The buns were lovely, very sweet and quite soft and fluffy. The sauce was great but I found the beef to be quite dry which was very disappointing.

Betty’s Classic – $10

Baby A got the Betty’s Classic Stack which consisted of both the Betty’s classic and the Shroom burger. This was AWESOME. The shroom burger was quite cheesy but the beef patty was also dry. Baby A couldn’t finish the burger and so Daddy bear had to swoop in a save the day.

Betty’s Classic Stack – $16

Betty’s Burgers is quite busy and everyone raves on about their burgers. I wished I had ordered the shroom burger because I found anything with the beef patty was really dry. Sorry Betty’s Burgers but I won’t be coming back anytime soon.
