MALAYSIA: Noodle Station, Mid Valley City (KL)

One of the main thing that we really wanted to do before we leave Malaysia was to watch Finding Dory and the only time we were free to do this was on our last day in Malaysia. We needed to refuel and found the noodle station right next to the cinema.

Miss Mumma was craving some noodles and got the springy noodle with prawns. It had a ‘wok’ flavour which she was craving for the whole trip. She said it was full of flavour and she downed it in now time.

Miss Traveler was also hit with the food poisoning bug and went for something more plain which was the BBQ Chicken in springy noodle soup. This was super plain AND bland which was very disappointing. It just tasted like noodles in boiling water.

I went for the springy noodle with fishball and fried chicken wantan. I thought it was going to be a soup based dish but it was more of a crispy noodles with a sauce at the bottom. It came with a bowl of soup which was very refreshing. This was actually quite flavoursome and thoroughly enjoyed. The sauce wasn’t too salty but I didn’t like the fried wantan. It was like eating fried pastry with hardly any meat in it.

It wasn’t really busy when we dropped by but we enjoyed two out of three dishes so that’s more than half. It’s a tad more on the expensive side but if I was craving noodles, I wouldn’t mind coming back.
