The new burger joint on the westside has opened up and it was St. Burgs. I haven’t been so stooge 1 (stooge 2 was out of action being sick) took me here to satisfy our burger cravings. It’s located in an apartment block and we got there at 6:30PM on a Thursday night and it was empty.
We ordered quickly and rushed to get a seat on the inside and waited for our freshly made burgers. By 6:45PM, it was packed and there were people waiting outside to order, lucky we came EARLY!!! I got the signature burger, the durger. This was so YUMMO-LICIOUS! The beef patty was juicy, the gerkin relish, durger mayo and smokey sauce was AMAZEBALLS! The bun was so soft and fluffly. I didn’t find any oils dripping down my fingers at all (WINNING!). Everything was perfectly balanced and it was a damn good burger.
The Durger – $10
I also got a nutella milkshake since I was thirsty and I thought it’ll be super sweet. Boy was I wrong. This was soooo YUMMYYYYY!!! You can taste the nutella and it was full of ice cream. I have no idea what was in it, but I wanted to dip my whole face in it!
Nutella Milkshake – $7
Miss Stooge 1 got the western fried chicken with a sides of seasoned cut chips. I took a bite of the chicken burger and the chicken was sooo JUICY!!! I thought it’ll be dry and really fatty feeling, but no, the chicken was AMAZEBALL! It was served with chili sauce and Miss Stooge reckons the burger was a tad too big to eat due to the BIG-ASS CHICKEN! The chips were freshly cooked and was hot when it came out with the burger. I thought it needed a bit more seasoning on it but other than that, pretty alright!
The Western Fried Chicken – $12; Seasoned Cut Chips – $4
Overall, the staff were super friendly, the burgers came out in a decent amount of time (maybe 10-15mins or so) and the burgers were pretty damn good! Definitely coming back for the Durger. If you’re in the west, this should be the next pit stop on your burgers adventure.
