Rustica has always been on my list but I’ve never managed to make it to Hawthorn or Fitzroy, BUT it has now opened in Melbourne Central so, of course we made our way there. Yep, it was smack bang in the shopping centre and there was an indoor and an ‘outside’ area. We plopped our butts in the ‘outside’ area and it was set up so well that we forgot that we were in a shopping centre.
Billy’s Central, Melbourne (Melbourne Central)
After a day at ACMI and stuffing our faces with dumplings, we needed a coffee hit because, well, that’s what you do in Melbourne. Since we were shopping at Melbourne Central, we stopped by Billy’s Central in the middle of the walkway. There’s also an actual eatery on the side so head into there if you wanted some sustenance.
Oriental Spoon, Melbourne
It’s almost Christmas time and everyone is trying to get together before the holidays and it was time to catch up with Miss Train and Miss Panda to exchange our KK presents (YAYERS!). Miss Train booked us in for Oriental Spoon (the first one) across from Melbourne Central since we were all taking the train home.
Sam Sam, Melbourne
Shopping with Mr D in the city and we spotted a new Korean Fried Chicken eatery and of course we had to stop by and check it out!
ChillBro Paletas, Melbourne (Melbourne Central)
I told Mr D I’ll come here with him but I was already in the city with my uni gang and decided to go in ninja mode and hopefully Mr D won’t know (I hope you’re not reading this hohoho). We stood awkwardly at the front of the shop and tried to look at the menu from afar (yeah, we’re cool like that) and was like Chill Bro to each other.
