Ministry of Cakes, Brunswick

After a day full of dress shopping, a cake cafe caught our eye – Ministry of cakes. So what else do the three stooges do? We enter and stuff our faces with cakes of course! I went on a double date with the creative couple and snagged a table at Milkcow (although, be warned, since it’s a pop up store, it’s quite cosy inside).

This time around, Mr D and I arrived at 11am on the dot (when they first open) and snagged a table for 2. We were finally in Miss Marple’s (hurray!!).

After brunch, the girlies and I decided that we needed a sugar hit and since we were in South Melbourne, why not hit up Bibelot?! So off we went on another dessert adventure. It was super busy inside but luckily we managed to get a table for 5. Since we were all full (pants bursting at the seams) we got 4 cakes to share and two scoops of ice-cream (yeah, girls have a dessert tummy FYI). Each cake was $9.50 and they all looked absolutely divine!
