American food has been getting more and more popular in Australia but there is an eatery that has been around for quite some time, Misty’s Diner. This is an American diner where the drinkies are American, the food is what you would find in a diner and the atmosphere, boy the atmosphere is uplifting, fun and buzzing.
What drinkies will you find here? You can literally have Shaq in a can (well I’m pretty sure it ain’t Shaq in there), Dr Pepper, cherry flavoured drinkies and much more.
For starters we were served Mac & Cheese balls and these were pretty darn good. Little bite sized but I found that it needed a touch more cheese.

The BBQ ribs were very sticky with BBQ sauce which is exactly how it should be. However, I found that the ribs could be a touch more tender but other then that, great comfort food.

I loved the buffalo chicken wings. They were not dry, full of flavour and the salad gives you an illusion of being healthy. The dipping sauce was flavourful and I can definitely go for this again.

The pig out platter are for all those little piggies out there who wants a taste of everything. Ranging from buffalo wings to onion rings and even some meat balls too. My favourite were the onion rings and the chicken bites. Definitely a platter to share.

You can’t go to an American eatery and not have pies! I got to try the Pumpkin pie which I absolutely loved since I’m a huge fan of pumpkin. Definitely the best dessert of the night.
The cherry pie looked amazing but tastewise, it just wasn’t my thang! Reminded me too much of red medicine which your parents use to force down your throat when you were a kid. Definitely not my cup of tea.
Misty’s Diner provides an amazing atmosphere with great service and friendly staff. There were a lot of hit and misses with the food but my favourite of the nights were the pumpkin pie and the mac & cheese balls.
