Top Paddock, Richmond

Brunch time with the girlies and we all decided a central cafe and it ended up to be Top Paddock.

They didn’t take any bookings but luckily we only waited 10 minutes before our table was ready (SCORE!). We ordered our drinkies and it took FOREVER for them to arrive – I mean, how long does it take to serve 8 coffees guys? Pretty sure 20 minutes is way too long! Anywho, I got the fresh QLD soft shell mud crab roll with a fennel and dill salad and lime mayonnaise in a brioche bun. This was really YUMMILICIOUS! The brioche bun was fluffy with a slight crispiness on the outside. Remember to squeeze ALL the lime in the bun or else all the flavours won’t be able to WOW you!

Mr D got the eggs benedict with hamhock. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The eggs were poached perfectly with the yolk oozing out when you broke it in half. Mr D’s favourite thing was the hamhock which he did not even want to share at all!

Eggs Benedict – $18.50

The food here was really great but the service was quite slow and the staff weren’t as friendly as they could have been. If you don’t mind the wait and slow service, drop by for an awesome brunch.
