UK: Tanner and Co, London

It was our last breakfast in London and Mr D knew the drill, we only eat whatever food is known in the country which we’re in. So off we go on our last breakfast adventure and we stopped at Tanner and Co. Since it was only 8AM it wasn’t super busy and we got a table straight away.

Mr D got the Full English Breakfast and it wasn’t big at all the everything on the plate was edible but not anything exciting. The beans were like they were from a can, the mushrooms were too salty but the eggs were pretty good! Mr D didn’t get full or satisfied either.

Full English – £11

I got the pancake stack since I wanted something sweet. When it came out, it was GINORMOUS! The pancake itself was super dry but the lemon creme fraiche was quite YUMMILICIOUS! I think they should put more Fraiche or at least more Rhubarb and tone down on the pancake. The portions were way too big for me. Some maple syrup will actually go quite nice with it in my opinion.

Rhubarb Pancake Stack with Lemon Creme Fraiche – £8

The staff weren’t that friendly and the service was quite slow. I wouldn’t recommend this joint for breakky but maybe they do a killer lunch and dinner.
